Description
Rafnagud is one of the nicknames used to refer to the god Odin. It means "God of ravens". This is because he used two ravens to gather news from all over the world.
According to Norse legends, Hugin and Munin are the two ravens that represent Odin's eyes and ears, to know everything that is happening in the nine worlds. Hugin represents knowledge and Munin memory. Legend has it that, every dawn, both ravens are sent by order of Odin to travel through the nine worlds to collect all possible information and then, at noon, return to Asgard and inform him of everything, perching on his shoulders.
According to the Eddas and poems about Hugin and Munin, Odin was extremely careful with these two ravens, even more so than with his wolves. It is believed that this was because ravens are much more fragile animals and the journey they undertook on a daily basis was dangerous.
Made of stainless steel, with zinc alloy, resistant to shock and corrosion. Does not cause allergy. Decorated with fine filigree silver finish and topped with the heads of the mythical ravens of Odin.
